Generally speaking, succulents are the plants of choice for many new growers. The reason is it is easy to take care of and does not require regular care like other plants. But this does not mean that succulents will be indestructible. Sometimes, the fleshy leaves will fall off when you are not paying attention. When you see this scene, you don't know how to remedy it. Reason For the Falling of Succulent Leaves:



1. Frequent leaf fall

 
When the succulent leaves are obscured by the higher growth near the plant crown, the leaves will lose the opportunity to grow and will gradually fall off. However, if your succulents only occasionally drop the leaves near the bottom of the stem, don't worry too much, the problem is not very serious.
 

2. Succulent leaves fall off due to heat death

 
Most succulents grow naturally in harsh environments. They tried to be exposed to plenty of direct sunlight in those places, and nothing obstructing them around. This is why it is so popular for indoor growing.
 
However, people often keep them in closed and sunny places such as terraces or window sills. But they overlooked a problem, the summer temperature is higher and higher, doing so will undoubtedly hurt them. The leaves wilt and fall off easily.



 

3. Succulent leaves fall off due to cold shock

 
Ordinary succulents are difficult to survive in cold and frosty weather. Winter planting is recommended to be placed in a place where the indoor temperature is just right, with grow lights, then this falling off phenomenon will be alleviated.
 
If you can only plant succulents outdoors in cold weather, never water during frost. Keep it dry that can grow to live better.
 

4. Succulent leaves falling off due to excessive watering

 
Usually, the most important factor for leaf shedding is excessive watering. Because too much water will cause the cell wall of the leaf to swell to the point of rupture. Therefore, we must water them moderately.
